Male guests who are Japanese or foreign residents of Japan cannot enter if they have tattoos/irezumi/body art, regardless of size. Male foreign tourists only may bathe wearing one tattoo sticker designated by the facility (passport or airline ticket required). On a trial basis, female guests (Japanese and foreign) with fashion tattoos are allowed; if a single tattoo exceeds 30 cm x 30 cm, one designated tattoo sticker must be purchased and worn.
